Youth neglect a time bomb, Author Cash Point boss speak

With the recently increase in the prices of commodities, transportation, work materials and other daily needs for survival, the Chief Executive Officer of the Author Cash Point Isaiah Steven Onu has lament the role of government on the neglect of youths across the country saying  the situation is a time bomb waiting to explode, just as he also decried the non-nonchalant attitude of government towards youth development, most especially lack of investments in young entrepreneurs building brands, creating Job opportunities across the country, lack of vision and unfavorable policy of government that has driven more working and responsible youth out of business. 

This was disclosed during a chat with Onu at his business premises during the week.

The Cross River born entrepreneur decried the poor role of government in the Development of businesses that are capable of creating wealth and Job opportunities for the  teaming youths across the country.

 While speaking the University of Abuja ex student, he disclosed that the lack of Job employment after graduation pushed him into starting his own business.

According to Onu "i am an ex student of the University of Abuja, i studied Public Administration. Due to the lack of unemployment in 2020 after graduation i had to go into Point of Sale  (POS) business and laundry  services to to make ends meet. 

It hasnt been easy running a business in Nigeria due to the fact that the labor Market hasn't been favorable especially when it Comes to Small business owners. At the beginning of the business i went through alot of stress but because i was determined to succeed even in the face of not been supported by the government who have been reluctant of supporting those that are ready to work or even creating a favorable policy that Will support the Development of Small business in the country".

"The federal government needs  to Do the needful in creating a functioning support program which includes  sponsorship that is Well packed toward helping those who are already working on a business".

He further advised young business owners to keep thriving despite the economic situation they are faced with which currently affects Both the Rich and the poor in the country. Thereby noting that Government needs to look for a way to balance the situation for Young entrepreneurs so that they can survive the present hardship in the country.

He stressed that there is a need for government to subsidize the rate of pos charges for sustainability of the business because their are many youths seizing the opportunity of the business to get themselves engaged, because many of them are trying to stay away from Crime. Just as he also advised the youth to Always result to following the right path of life while building their Brands.

According to Onu "just like the saying an idle Mind is the devils workshop. A time will come when you will appreciate yourself for not giving up as the Journey of a thousand miles begins with just a step so i will tell the young CEO's Never to give up". He Said.
